2025 Season Opener at Blanket Hill: A Strong Start for the 30s

Race fans, the wait is officially over ! Race one of the 2025 season is in the books, and it was everything we hoped for and more at Blanket Hill Speedway! With perfect weather setting the stage, the atmosphere was electric as we rolled out the newly redesigned 30s for its first real test of the year.

Early Challenges in Hot Laps and Heat Race

The track surface was tricky from the start. Hot laps were a bit of a handful, and that carried over into the heats. Still, Dominic kept his cool, starting and finishing 2nd in Heat 2 , a solid start, but we knew there was room to improve.

Rolling the Dice: Big Setup Changes Before the Feature

After some team discussion, we decided to make bold changes to the car , adjustments we had never made before. We weren’t sure if it would help or hurt, but we knew growth doesn’t come from playing it safe. Sometimes, you’ve just got to trust your instincts and try something new.

A Strong Showing in the 25-Lap Feature

As soon as the green flag dropped, the difference was clear. The 30s came to life. Dominic looked confident and smooth as the car handled better than it had all night. A restart incident where Dominic was hit from behind rattled things a bit, but he regrouped and brought home a strong 5th-place finish.

A Night of Progress and Promise

Of course, we always race to win , but after a long winter, a fresh build, and a major strategy shift, this result is something to be proud of. Dominic is already picking up where he left off last season, and we’re more fired up than ever to chase victory.

Next Stop: BHS Sprint Car Spring Nationals

Now it’s time to regroup, reload, and get the 30s prepped for next weekend’s big event , the BHS Sprint Car Spring Nationals. If race one showed us anything, it’s that we’re just getting started.
