Our Story

About DSR

Dominic Slesinski Racing is a first-generation, family-run 600cc Micro Sprint team based in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The journey began in late 2023 with our first few laps in a Junior Sprint before makeing the jump directly into a 600cc Micro Sprint. What started as an unknown leap has grown into a small competitive race program built on hard work, persistence, and a willingness to learn every lap. After spending our first full season learning the car, the tracks, and the competition, DSR began turning that progress into results. Now, the goal is bigger than simply getting to Victory Lane.

We’re continuing to challenge ourselves at new tracks, against stronger fields, and in some of the toughest 600cc Micro Sprint competition in the region.

We may not come from generations of racing, but we’re building our own legacy, one race at a time.

Dominic Slesinski

Class: 600cc Micro Sprint

Dominic’s path to dirt track racing didn’t begin behind the wheel.

After years of playing hockey, he traded his skates for a race car and entered the 600cc Micro Sprint world with no family racing background and a lot to learn. What followed was a fast education in race craft, car control, setup, patience, and just how much work happens away from the track.

Since beginning his racing journey in late 2023 in a Junior Sprint car, Dominic has come a long way. He made the jump directly into the 600cc Micro Sprint car the following year and has progressed from learning at the back of the field to battling at the front, earning podium finishes, heat wins, and feature victories along the way. But results are only part of what drives him. Whether he’s studying race footage, working through setup changes, or adapting to a new track, Dominic approaches each race as another opportunity to improve. Now, that means taking the 30s to more tracks, facing deeper competition, and continuing to push beyond what he already knows.
